Tommy: iLiveGrammar Test Results

Yolie,
Tommy has many strengths!  He did very well on a variety of tasks.  We know that grammar is his area that needs the most support.  I required him to get 5 questions correct before he could watch the youtube video 'reward.'  This was VERY difficult for him.  He struggled to understand concepts like "wind" could be a noun, and "is, are" could be verbs.  He tried hard.  :)  He gave me his best effort and I am proud of him.  It takes courage to face something that is a huge struggle.

We need to discuss an appropriate goal for Tommy to work towards in grammar.  This 'test' will serve as his baseline.  It is important that he obtain 80% accuracy across 3 consecutive sessions before we move up in difficulty level.

Since this is the most difficult, I will start on nouns, verbs, and pronouns with him and let him finish by feeling successful in reading comprehension and the other activities we could do at easier levels.  We will continue to work up the levels.
